    Was in the mood for wings, heard this was the place to go and they did not lie. We started out with a single order (10 wings) because we thought a double would be too much but shortly after found ourselves ordering another single. Sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. Pretty low key bar but it was a little too bright for my liking.

    Blondie's has been slinging quality wings for many years. It's a laid-back sports bar that never seems to be too crowded when we go. Or maybe we just go at odd times. Anyway, last visit, our cheerful server checked on us at regular intervals, and another guy who was working also seemed cool. No shortage of TVs too. The wings come in eight different levels of heat, and there are seven other flavors to choose from as well. Wings are served with blue cheese dressing, carrots, and celery. A single order consisting of 10 wings is $18.95. That seems a tad steep but the wings are a decent size. The lemon-pepper parmesan was delightful. I was afraid it would come with too much parmesan dusted on top, but that wasn't the case at all. Terrifically crunchy exterior, yum!

    Great Sports Bar on the UWS! The place was packed but that didn't slow the service down. We were served quickly with frequent check-ins. Not to mention the wings were TO DIE FOR!!!

    During my undergrad years I spent some time living in Buffalo, so my bar for good wings are very high and when I moved back to New York City I had a hard time finding wings that met my standard. Fortunately I was introduced to the wings at Blondies Sports. Serving up easily some of the best buffalo wings in New York, Blondies Sports is a standard sports/dive bar in the Upper West Side. Since my colleagues and I worked nearby, we always came here to take advantage of Blondies great 2 for 1 happy hour. For food, my group usually sticks to ordering the wings and waffle fries here. I highly suggest getting a side of cheese for the waffle fries. The wings at blondies are traditionally not battered and fried to perfection. Despite not having a shell, the wings are still crispy without being too dry. Although some people may be a bit turned off by the price, the wings at Blondies always seems a bit bigger than normal. I can usually polish off 10-15 wings and be satisfied. If you like buffalo wings, I highly suggest giving Blondies Sports a try. Do not be afraid or intimidated by this dive bar and you will not regret it.
